WCI & ELC Breast Cancer Awareness Panel

Women's Cancer Initiative has been partnering with the Estée Lauder Companies , in the month of October, in their activities, to raise awareness to prevent Breast Cancer.
Our mission has, and always will be, unwavering.

Once again this year an Educational Session around Breast Cancer and Its Prevention was organised on 12th October. Mrs. Devieka Bhojwani, Vice President, Womens Cancer Initiative - Tata Memorial Hospital along with Dr. Nita Nair, Senior Oncologist from Tata Memorial Hospital, specializing in breast cancer were part of the panel.

A Breast cancer survivor was invited to share her story with employees to help raise awareness against the disease as part of the panel.

As part of Estée Lauder other activations in the month of October they had planned...

  • The Double Your Donation #BCC On ELC Good Works! To create awareness and support BCC, ELC Good Works* will double-match all eligible donations, to The Women's Cancer Initiative-Tata Memorial Hospital (WCI-TMH)
  • A virtual fundraiser event- Cooking class with Rahul Akerkar, 100% of the ticket price will benefit our local charity
  • Virtual Walk Challenge with global teams to walk for Breast Cancer Awareness
  • CTA Campaign: The 2021 BCC Campaign invites people to share what “the pink ribbon means to them” by creatively depicting a pink ribbon on their hand / arm, their palm, a poster, a card, or a note with materials available to them (e.g.: lipstick, lip liner, crayons, markets, flowers, pens, paint, etc). For every public post or story shared with #TimeToEndBreastCancer #BCCIndia2021 @esteelaudercompanies in Oct 2021, The Campaign comes a step closer in the fight against breast cancer with its life saving message and raises funds.
